In the report, “The Experience of Work” by The Economist/Intelligence Unit, researchers found that 32% of respondents said “lack of common objectives/key performance indicators” is the toughest barrier for a strong HR-IT relationship. According to Brett, this is largely due to generational spectrum shifts, meaning the shift in motivational levers as well. The solution? Reaching employees on the emotional level.
